Help Us Reach our $120,000 Goal
It’s time to give!
91.9 KVCR fundraiser starts now. Once again, we will reduce messaging that interrupts programs by as much as possible and we’re counting on your support to help us do it again.
The “on-air” portion of our drive is scheduled for the week of April 17. Due to listener support and with your encouragement, we have moved away from the traditional nine day public radio pledge drive and replaced it with messaging which encourages “early” giving.
Your response in October was phenomenal, so we ask again. How much of our Spring Campaign goal can be reached in the next few weeks using short reminders that don’t interrupt programming?
Recently, the San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) announced revenue to be received from the sale of the FCC spectrum auction for the KVCR television station. These new resources will be a significant benefit to the community college district and a portion will be directed to KVCR TV for equipment updates but at this time, 91.9 KVCR radio is not part of the proposed funding. Continued operation and expansion of our service will require diversification and expansion of all the revenue streams we depend on. 91.9 KVCR radio needs your support more than ever.
Now we are depending on you and other like-minded listeners to ensure 91.9 KVCR can remain your commute companion with Morning Edition, On Point, All Things Considered and our very own Inland Empire News coverage. Your contribution will also preserve a place on the radio for Weekend Edition, Wait Wait … Don't Tell Me, Marketplace, To The Point, and This American Life; programs that are the soundtrack for your weekend.
Can we once again eliminate interruptions for the pledge drive? We’re leaving it up to you. Our promise is simple—the drive ends when we reach $120,000—so let’s give it a try. Listener support is and will remain the essential ingredient that gives life to KVCR’s service to the region.
Please make your online donation today at KVCRNEWS.ORG and help us continue our mission with the broadcast of compelling stories and news.
Thank you for being a 91.9 KVCR partner.
KVCR receives a majority of its operating funds from individuals, people like you, who are committed to bringing cultural, educational, and informational programs to the Inland Southern California.
KVCR is the only station covering Inland Empire (IE) local news, traffic, and weather.
Our roots are strong in the IE and we are committed to growing our local presence and programming like KVCR Showcase, KVCaRts, and News Updates.
We reach further with the best national programing from NPR like Morning Edition, BBC World News, and The Diane Rehm Show.
Make a gift today to show your support for the station you turn to every day, KVCR.
Your Donation Helps
Donations to KVCR General Fund gives us flexibility to conquer the most pressing needs facing the station. This fund also supports services like Community Outreach and Engagement Initiatives, upgrading our in-house hi-tech video & recording equipment, and seed funding for new, local multi-media programs.
Becoming a supporter of KVCR Radio allows us to bring local and national news and entertainment to the IE.
