The December 2 attack on San Bernardino County employees brought ISIS-inspired terrorism to the Inland Empire. No longer the province of global cities like London, Paris, or Brussels, the attack reaffirmed that anywhere can be a target. Before he left to take a position at our colleague public radio station in Boise, Idaho, former KVCR reporter Matt Guilhem produced a 5-part series of feature stories on the mental health aftermath on various groups of people affected by the Dec. 2 San Bernardino shooting. Here's Part 1 in our series, first aired last summer.
Matt's series was produced as a project for the California Health Journalism Fellowship, a program of the Center for Health Journalism at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
