-a new USC study shows that California's tough air quality regulations have reduced negative health affects on children, and;

-the U.S. Forest Service is finally processing Nestle's permit to draw and bottle water from the San Bernardino Mountains, even though the company has been drawing water with a long-expired permit for years.
