U.S. Senator from California Dianne Feinstein has announced she'll seek her fifth full term in office.  Feinstein listed gun violence, climate change, health care, and immigration as key reasons for her re-election bid yesterday (Monday).  She'll likely once again be the favorite, but her decision to run has stirred unrest from within her own party.  Capital Public Radio's Ben Bradford reports.

Kamala Harris Will Run For U.S. Senate

California Attorney General Kamala Harris is the first out of the gate in the race to replace Barbara Boxer in the U.S. Senate.  Harris announced this morning that she will be a candidate for the seat up for election next year.  Others are expected to follow, and some who've been mentioned as possible candidates for the seat have bowed out.  NPR's Giles Snyder filed this report earlier this morning, just hours before Harris made her official announcement today.
