President Trump Wants To Boost Military Spending. But Is It Worth It?

The U.S. already spends more than $500 billion on the military, which is more than the next seven countries combined. As a candidate, and now as president, Donald Trump has argued that the military is “depleted.” He wants to boost defense spending by $54 billion.
