The president of Pitzer College in Claremont says a recent on-campus controversy has drawn a fiery reaction - including what the college president calls "hate speech" - from off-campus observers. More from KVCR's Ken Vincent.
Thanks to a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, UC Riverside is continuing to host a two-year series of quarterly conferences - one gathering every three months for two years - to examine issues of diversity and inclusivity in higher education. It's called the Mellon Advancing Intercultural Studies Conference. Its happening tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday showcasing programs to enhance educational and cultural experiences in the area. KVCR's Natalya Estrada spoke with Georgia Warnkey at UCR about the program.
