The television series 'Mad Men' gave viewers a glimpse of life in the post-war years that didn't sugarcoat unpleasant realities or gloss over the seismic shifts occurring in the country during the 1960s. While the show was followed by many for its meditative plot, the mid-century fashion and details were also a big draw.
