CSUSB At 50, Part 2: President Tomas Morales On The University's Renaissance

KVCR's Ken Vincent has Part 2 of his interview with Tomas Morales, the President of Cal State San Bernardino, as the university celebrates its 50th anniversary.  Dr. Morales took the reins at CSUSB just as higher education in California was trying to emerge from the depths of the Great Recession, following a series of cuts to UC and CSU budgets.  In this segment, Morales describes Cal State San Bernardino's post-recession renaissance, including the hiring of new faculty and the introduction of new academic programs and student-focused initiatives, as well as plans for expansion of the campus's physical plant.
